Prisco Microfinance Bank Limited was licensed to operate as a Unit Microfinance Bank on 5th march 2012 by Central Bank Of Nigeria and commenced  operation in September 2012. The Bank  which is fully owned by staff of Nigerian Correctional Service and Nigerian Prisons Multipurpose Co- operative Society  [PRISCO] has  its vision and mission statement as clearly  stated below
